Cancellation Policy

CARB Testing Policy & Disclaimer In order to ensure accurate and compliant CARB testing, we have the following requirements and disclaimers: 1. Vehicle Condition: We will not perform a CARB test if the truck has any warning lights illuminated on the dashboard at the time of testing. 2. MIL Light Reset Requirement: If the vehicle recently had a Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) turned off by a dealership or mechanic, we cannot conduct the test until the truck has completed at least five full warm-up cycles. Each warm-up cycle consists of bringing the engine to normal operating temperature and allowing it to cool completely. 3. State Fees & Responsibilities: We are not responsible for any additional fees imposed by the State of California, including but not limited to truck registration fees. The truck owner is solely responsible for paying any applicable fees directly to the State of California via the CARB portal. 4. No Refunds for Failed Tests: There are no refunds if a truck fails the CARB test. It is the sole responsibility of the truck owner to diagnose and remedy any outstanding issues that cause the truck to fail. OTR Services only provides the CARB test and does not perform repairs or guarantee a vehicle’s compliance with state regulations. If OTR Services arrives to perform a CARB test and the vehicle displays any warning lights on the dashboard (e.g., check engine light, MIL light, or any other indicator of engine malfunction), the test cannot be performed. Appointment Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy You may reschedule your appointment one time at no additional charge. You may cancel your appointment up to 24 hours in advance without incurring a fee. If you cancel between 24-12 hours before your scheduled appointment, a 50% fee will be applied. If you cancel less than 12 hours before your appointment or fail to show up, you will not be eligible for a refund. 3. Payments & Refunds All payments for CARB testing services must be made in full prior to testing unless otherwise agreed upon. There are no refunds for failed tests. It is the truck owner's responsibility to resolve any issues causing the truck to fail. OTR Services is not responsible for any additional fees imposed by the State of California, including but not limited to truck registration fees to the state of CA. The truck owner must pay these fees directly via the CARB portal. By proceeding with the test, the truck owner acknowledges and agrees to these terms.
